QuoteMedia Partners with Zecco

Quotestream QuoteMedia, Inc. has landed a two-year contract to provide streaming real-time portfolio management and tools to Zecco Trading.  Offering real-time news and market data, Quotestream II will be marketed to Zecco customers for $20 a month.  For non-professional traders, QuoteGrid will offer streaming quotes for $8 a month.

PredictWallStreet Adds More Features

Predictwallstreet PredictWallStreet has added dynamic poll results that automatically update every five seconds as well as intraday sentiment trends based on proprietary algorithms to offer users an "Up", "Neutral", and "Down" reading on individual stocks.  PredictWallStreet collects thousands of predictions on U.S. stocks, ETFs and indices on its website and on partner sites every day.

Users Download 1.1 Million Copies of Suze Orman's Book

Suzeorman_2 After appearing on Thursday's broadcast of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Suze Orman and her publisher offered free downloads of the e-book edition of "Women & Money" on the website at Oprah.com. Over 1.1 million copies were downloaded in English with another 19,000 in Spanish.

Financial Media Group Launches Investment TV Show

Financial Media Group has launched WallSt.net's News Magazine, a half-hour television program for investors featuring in-depth interviews with CEOs and investment professionals.  The show is hosted by Peter Ward, a nominee for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast. Each episode will air nationally on several networks and can be viewed online.

CNBC.com Falls in Love

CNBC.com has launched a new section for the Valentine's Day holiday.  Love & Money offers a mix of financial advice for couples before and after they tie the knot.  There's also a webpage to send a Valentine's Day Card to Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank.

TheStreet.com Launches MainStreet.com

Mainstreet TheStreet.com is borrowing a page from TMZ and has launched MainStreet.com.  The website will feature a blog-like user interface with the tagline "Where Life and Money Intersects".   The goal is to generate more online ad revenues by including female-oriented content like health and beauty.

Mytrade Investools, a provider of investment education and online trading services, has acquired Mytrade, a website that lets users create custom homepages with market data.  Investools plans to add a new widget for users to trade directly from the website.

Moneytechconference O'Reilly Media's Money:Tech Conference kicks off in New York City for two days of seminars with Jim Cramer of TheStreet.com/CNBC, Tim O' Reilly and Paul Kedrosky as keynote speakers.  It has been positioned as the first show to address the impact of Web 2.0 on Wall Street.

Bankrate.com Acquires Two Companies

Bankrate Bankrate.com has acquired the assets of two companies in separate transactions.  InsureMe operates an insurance information website at InsureMe.com while Fee Disclosure provides mortage transaction and closing fees information through its website at FeeDisclosure.com.
